Experience the beauty of Mount Rinjani on a 2 Days 1 Night trekking adventure to the spectacular Senaru Crater Rim. This trek is perfect for beginners and nature lovers who want to witness breathtaking mountain landscapes, stunning sunsets, and unforgettable sunrise views without reaching the summit.
Starting from Senaru Village, the trail passes through lush tropical rainforest before reaching the crater rim at 2,641 meters above sea level, where you’ll spend the night under the stars overlooking Lake Segara Anak and Mount Rinjani.
After breakfast, we register at the Rinjani Trek Centre before beginning our trek from Senaru Village (601m).
The trail leads through a beautiful tropical rainforest where you may spot unique flora and wildlife. We stop at Pos 1 and Pos 2 for short breaks and refreshments.
Lunch is served at Pos 3 (2,000m) before continuing the climb toward Senaru Crater Rim.
As the forest opens into grassland, you'll be rewarded with stunning views of Mount Rinjani, Lake Segara Anak, Mount Baru Jari, the Gili Islands, and even Mount Agung in Bali.
We arrive at Senaru Crater Rim (2,641m) in the late afternoon and enjoy one of Lombok's most spectacular sunsets before dinner and overnight camping.
Wake up early to witness an unforgettable sunrise from the crater rim.
After breakfast, we begin our descent through the rainforest back to Senaru Village.
Several rest stops are provided along the way, including a lunch break at Pos 2.
Arrival in Senaru Village is approximately 1:00 PM, where transportation will be ready to take you to your next destination in Lombok.
